Now that all results day are over and summer is coming to a close, we're all about to make a big step in our lives whether that being moving from Primary School to a new one or from Secondary to College/sixth form or College to University or to starting a new job, we're all going through a big part of our lives.
First of all, well done on your results whether that is SATS, GCSE's, A-Levels or finishing your degree, I know you did well and I'm proud of each and every one of you.
One thing I must advise you is that if you don't want to do something with your next step in life, don't do it! Going onto further education isn't for everyone and if you'd rather go on to get a job than going into even more education, then don't do it! Do what makes you happy. Remember that you can drop out of anything you don't want to do too.
In September I will be starting my first year/three years of University where I will be studying Childhood Studies and I hope to go onto become a primary school teacher. A lot of people may think that the course I am doing is "stupid" and may wonder why I'd want to go onto teach others education but I enjoy helping others and knowing that someone else is being benefited because of me, makes me happy.
Before making any decisions of your own you should always consider whether or not it is what you want to do and you aren't doing it to make your family or friends happy. At the end of the day, it is your life and you deserve to be happy living it. So you keep doing what you're doing but FOR YOURSELF!!
