10 Things I Find Annoying...

Hello guys...

I have decided to make a blog post about things that I find annoying so this post is pretty much a rant post. I am choosing to do this blog post as a way to separate all of the review posts and discuss all of the things I find so annoying.

Ok so lets get started:

  • Rudeness- manners cost nothing so why do you feel the need to be rude to everyone? Even if being kind isn't for you, there is still no need to treat other people like they're trash. Just hold the door open for that person or help them out, don't be so rude!
  • Racists- ITS 2015! WHY ARE PEOPLE SO AGAINST OTHERS WITH A DIFFERENT SKIN COLOUR! WE ARE ALL THE SAME. Nothing sickens me more than hearing that more and more individuals are being killed because of their skin colour. It truly is disgusting.
  • Careless people- nothing annoys me more than careless people! People that go about their life as if they have no care in the world and don't take care of their own belongings is really annoying. I hate when individuals have everything they want in life and they just don't care about it, they take everything for granted.
  • Wolf whistlers- middle-aged men that find it acceptable to shout and wolf whistle at young girls is just wrong, it is also very intimidating and no-one wants to feel intimidated in the place they live. It is creepy, it must stop!
  • Slow walkers- nothing is worse than being stuck behind a slow walker when you are in a rush and need to be somewhere soon. Slow walkers that decide to stop in the middle of the path to have a conversation is even worse.
  • People that can't be happy for you- Nothing annoys me more than when you are so happy about something and you need to tell the world but no one seems to be happy for you or they change the topic onto themselves. NOT EVERYTHING IS ABOUT YOU JUST BE HAPPY FOR ME FOR ONCE PLEASE.
  • Over-dramatic people- is there really any need for your over-dramatic behaviour? You've stubbed your toe, you don't need it removed. People that rant and rave about how bad their life is or how their life is "over" just because they have made one mistake are just too dramatic. You will get over this, don't shout about it.
  • People that are always late- People that are always late and think everything revolves around them, really annoy me. If you're late, just don't bother turning up. If you are 10 minutes late or more, do us all a favour and just stay at home. It's so annoying when someones late to say a meeting or a class and then they expect the person talking to explain what they have missed and then the rest of the people there have to hear it again. JUST NO!
  • Periods- Every female will agree with me on this one. There is nothing I hate more in life than periods, they truly ruin my life, I do not know one female that has had a great experience with a period. Ever. In there life. I did not ask for periods, I did not ask for this pain, so why do we get them? WHY DO WE HAVE TO PAY FOR PRODUCTS FOR SOMETHING WE DON'T WANT?
  • People that make fun of others- People that make fun of others for no reason, deserve a lot of bad karma in their life. Especially if they are making fun of others for something that they like such as a band or their clothing taste. Why can't people just see others be happy? Don't make fun of someone for something they like, just leave them be. Leave them to be happy.
These are 10 things that I find annoying/hate about people and life. Believe me, I could've made a never ending list of things that I find annoying but I decided to keep it at just ten so you all don't become bored.

Leave in the comments what things you find annoying, do you agree or disagree with the ten things I find annoying? Let me know your thoughts...

#GrowingUpWithAnxiety...

Hello guys...

anyone that is on twitter, will have noticed that during this week there has been a lot of #GrowingUpWith trends and one of the trends that really stood out to me was the one about anxiety. I sat and scrolled through the trend just looking at all of the tweets people were making about growing up with anxiety. Reading through all of these tweets about people who have anxiety and how they've suffered in similar ways to you have, is actually quite comforting to know that you aren't alone. Anxiety is something that I have never really enjoyed talking about or wanting people to know that I have it but as I have grown up and by being reassured that there are so many more people in the world and my age that have anxiety made me feel somewhat "normal".
I saw a lot of individuals tweeting that "people shouldn't be glorifying anxiety" which is completely not what is actually going on. Individuals are finally feeling strong enough to voice their problems and explain what it feels like to have and to have grown up with the disorder so why are we shaming them?
I know from my own experiences that growing up with anxiety is horrible, I always felt like there was something wrong with me, I didn't want to be out with my friends or even out of my bed. I was quite happy lying in my bed away from the world and I just couldn't understand why that was unhealthy. My family would ask me if I wanted to go out and I'd just cry because I simply did not want to get dressed and see other humans, the other of interacting with others that I did not know was enough to make me feel sick. I went through 15 years of my life thinking that there was something wrong with me but I wasn't sure what, I knew I wasn't as confident as my sisters and I didn't like to be out all of the time like they did. Whilst they would be out with their friends, I would be in my room reading a book or on the internet. It was not until I started my GCSE's and the worry kicked in and the constant crying, that I realised that I need some sort of help and I couldn't carry on the way I was living or else I would've made myself seriously ill. Being 16 and being afraid to talk to someone on the phone is quite embarrassing and I wish I was never like that, even now at 18 I am still so afraid to phone people whether that being friends, family or strangers. Phone calls are not for me. I have always been the type of person to hate attention, I would rather no one knew my name than have all eyes on me.
Anxiety is not a nice thing to have or to go through and I know that I will always have it no matter what but being able to look at this trend on twitter and see other people have experienced events just like I have, is a good feeling. I have always been afraid of talking about my anxiety because of the fear of being judged but once I open up and know that others are the same, it makes me question why I was so scared. In some ways, if I did not have my anxiety, I wouldn't be the person I was. I probably wouldn't have concentrated as much as I have within school and college if I didn't have a constant fear of being seen as "stupid" or a "drop out" so in some ways, if I didn't have anxiety, I probably wouldn't have come this far in life. I'm not saying that anxiety is a good thing but I guess there could be some positives if you look into it hard enough. I'm not afraid to admit to myself or anyone else that I have anxiety, more and more people are aware of the illness these days too which makes it a lot easier on me. I know that I am normal, I may have a mental illness but I am not my mental illness, anxiety does not define me.

Some of the tweets I saw that I found relatable to me were:

"#GrowingUpWithAnxiety constantly thinking people dislike you if they don't talk to you" this is something that you feel with anxiety because you have a constant fear of not being good enough or not being liked and half of the time you are just over thinking it but it makes you feel terrible.

"#GrowingUpWithAnxiety having too much anxiety to go to school and then people joke about you "skipping"" This happens. Not everyone will understand what anxiety is and they just don't see what the big problem is, loose those people out of your life.

"#GrowingUpWithAnxiety Being the most emotional in your family and crying over minor things and having the rest of your family not understand" !!!!!!!!!!! THIS !!!!!!!! nothing sums up my life now and when I was growing up more than this tweet.

"#GrowingUpWithAnxiety mentally preparing yourself for social interactions" I wish this wasn't true but it is. Knowing that you have a huge event coming up is always the worst, your mind does overtime and you have to plan and plan situations in your head that will probably not happen and because of the situations going on in your head, this can make you not even attend the social event to avoid interactions.

I have two photographs saved in my phone that I have had for the longest time and I am ready to share. Both of these photographs are from tumblr (feel free to leave your url in the comments and I will follow you)

I hope that these photographs come in helpful with you like they have with me and I hope that this overall post makes you feel as if you can be a bit more open about your anxiety or can relate to the illness.

Feel free to leave any comments if you would like to talk to me a bit more privately.

Somatoxtea...

Hello guys...

(This week I am uploading a mid-week review to get the word out on a product that I am going to be trying out over the next two weeks, hopefully I will be uploading this weekend as normal also!)

this week's blogpost is a slight review put more of an informative post about the product. I was lucky enough to be sent a package from Somatoxtea and I received the skinnytox tea. These tea bags are to help detox and to loose weight, I use detox teabags quite regularly by different brands and Somatoxtea was one that I had never tried so I was very excited when I received the product. With this product you get 14 day skinnytox tea bags and 7 night time ones, as you can imagine, you drink the day time ones every morning for 2 weeks and then the night time ones are every other night.

(£21.99)

The ingredients for the morning tea is: Goji Berry, Garcinia Cambogia, Senna Leaf, Lotus Leaf, Pu' erh Tea Leaf, Burdock Root, Sencha Green Tea and Lemongrass.
The ingredients for the evening tea are: Senna Leaf, Roselle (Habiscus), Liquorice Root, Chamomile, Lotus Leaf, Fennel Seed, Rhubarb Root and Peppermint Leaf.

I'm not going to lie and say that this tastes nice because the taste isn't good at all but the taste is definitely enough to put up with in order to loose weight in such an easy way.

I am currently day 3 and night 2 into my weight loss tea and I can already start to feel the difference. With these teabags, I am eating a lot healthier, not snacking but I'm also not exercising other than going on walks with my dogs (the usual).
I do not drink these teabags within a huge mug, I simply find a small cup and use the same cup throughout the detox.

Considering I have only been using these tea bags for a few days, I feel like they are already starting to work to some extent.

(These photographs are from a morning teabag.)

I believe that these teabags are reasonably priced for the job they do and they do not involve any hard work (unless you class putting the kettle on as hard work).

To purchase the tea or any other products by this brand go to : www.somatox.com

I look forward to hopefully uploading a post on my progress with this company and the 14 day skinnytox.

What weight loss teas do you live by? Have you tried somatox before?

Mr.Bean Review...

Hello guys...

this week I was lucky enough to be sent a product for me to review. This product is the Mr Bean Coffee Bean Scrub. As you'd expect, this product smells very much like coffee. I am not a lover of coffee but I actually didn't mind the smell.

The packaging of this product was very nice and just the way you'd expect a bag of coffee beans to be and the inside of the box had a little message on that really made me laugh.

The Mr.Bean coffee scrub is to be used whilst the skin is wet or damp whether that being whilst in the shower or bath or simply just by washing your face and wanting to use the scrub. On the back of the packet, it warns that you should not let the coffee scrub touch your eyes but if it does, wash out immediately.
As soon as I opened the packet, I was very intrigued by the scrub. I think that the scrub has a very similar look to soil which some people may find weird.

I showered and then whilst my skin was still wet, I used the scrub on my legs and my arms. I suffer from psoriasis which means that I have very dry patches on my arms but by using this, it really helped and made them feel extremely smooth. After 5 minutes I washed off the scrub. This was a very messy task and I got coffee scrub all over my shower and the walls. After washing it off the whole bathroom smelt of the scrub and it was great. I decided to put the coffee scrub on my face after I had been in the shower so that I knew where I was putting it.
(I have included a picture of the scrub on my face and I apologise for how bad I look).

Once again, after about 5 minutes, I washed off the scrub and my face felt so smooth to the point that I found myself stroking my face all night!

Overall, I find this scrub very good, it does exactly what it says and I will definitely be purchasing this product again once I run out of coffee beans.

My Summer Essentials...

Hello guys...

Recently we are having some very hot weather within the UK which results in me becoming a lot more lazier when it comes to doing my hair and makeup within the summer. I have a go-to-look that I do when I can't be bothered with a heavy coverage or can't be bother to stand and do my makeup.

The first thing that I do is clean my face to get rid of any makeup that I might've missed the day before. I use Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water, the bottle that I currently have is only a travel size bottle so I've gone through it quite fast. Using cotton pads, I apply the cleansing water to my face and let it dry in. This really makes you feel refreshed.

The foundation that I go to during the summer is the 24 hours matte infallible by L'oreal. This foundation is extremely matte and I wouldn't recommend it if you have very dry skin or else it will show through the foundation. I find the coverage to be quite good on this foundation too making it perfect for a summers day.

I then like to apply concealer under my eyes and onto any spots that I have that may be still visible after applying the foundation. I live by the collection lasting perfection concealer (I've had it a while), you could use this to highlight or concealer. This is in the shade "fair".

Throughout the day, I don't like to over do the contouring or the bronzer so I use Hoola bronzer by Benefit. This is definitely my go-to product when I'm getting ready, no matter what look I'm
going for. Depending on how much product you apply to the brush, depends on the coverage you will receive from the product. I find that this product adds a lovely shade to your face without making you look too brown.

The Naked Flushed pallette comes with a bronzer, highlight and blush. Once again with this product I find that the amount of product you want on your face, depends on how much product you put on the brush. Throughout the day, I like to use a small amount of highlight and blush to add a bit of colour to my face. The pigment for the highlight is very good.

Everyone has their own products that they enjoy using on their eyebrows and certain mascara that they like to use. The product that I use on my eyebrows is the Urban Decay brow kit. With this kit you get two small brushes and tweezers.

For my eyes, I usually just go to my naked 2 pallette, I don't like to use a lot of eyeshadow during the day because if I'm not doing anything, I don't want to waste the makeup I have. I tend to go for a very simple eye look.

Finally, with the day's being so long and hot, I use setting spray and de-stick. I have very oily skin so I find that no matter how matte my foundation is, it will probably become shiny at some point in the day.
Using these sprays allows me to go out and not worry about my makeup wearing off or my T-Zone becoming oily and shiny throughout the day. (The bottles aren't in the best condition, sorry). A lot of people may think that sprays like this make you get spots, but I haven't found that, the only way you'll get spots is if you don't take your makeup off properly.

My hair is naturally quite curly and I find it a lot easier to leave it natural rather than straighten it, even if I did straighten it, it becomes curly throughout the day anyway. So I like to use a sea salt spray. By simply spraying it onto the ends of my hair and scrunching it into my hand, my hair is set for the day. Not only does it create curly waves, but it smells nice too.

All of these products are what I like to use when I'm in a rush to go out or if I'm just sitting in the garden in the sun. It creates a simple look without the feeling of having too much makeup on.

What are your go-to Summer essentials?

Haul...

Hello guys...

unfortunately, my laptop is not very "workable" at the minute which means that I have to write all of my posts through the blogger app on my iPhone which can be quite a pain but hopefully it will work out. So from the 24th June until the 26th, I visited Manchester where I saw Taylor Swift live (which was one of the best nights of my life) and I did a lot of shopping. (None of these photographs are mine apart from the Taylor Swift one)

First of all, I did not buy any Taylor Swift merchandise but I did get a free wrist band/bracelet which was synced up so that everyone in the arena had the same colours flashing together. (I was up pretty high but it was still amazing!)

The first item that I purchased was a lipstick. All of my lipsticks are under the same colour range which is either red or purple so obviously the colour of this lipstick came of no surprise to my friends and family. I took to the Nars counter in selfridges and came across the lipstick that I have been daydreaming about for so long. I find Nars to be quite an expensive brand but it's completely worth it.
The shade of this lipstick is called "Bette" and I am completely in love with it. This isn't a Matte lipstick but it doesn't have an overpowering glossy or sheer look to it. I am so in love with this lipstick that I refuse to take it out of the box in case it gets damaged at any time. Definitely made it into my best purchases list.
(Selfridges, £24)

The next item that I bought was a shirt dress, I knew that the day I was returning home, I was going out for a friends birthday so I needed something to wear. Topshop is always a shop that I find lovely clothes in so obviously I had to look in there and I came across this.

The material for this dress is very flattering especially with the tie that is round the waist. You could wear this dress to the beach or to go shopping or to go on a night out, it's fit for all occasions. I found that the colour of the dress/shirt worked well with all other colours too which meant I could team it with any other shade that I wanted to.
(Topshop, £36)

Zara is one of those shops that I either find nothing at all in or so much that I want to buy all at once. Zara has a huge sale on at the moment and just about every item that they sell within the shop is on sale so I was in my element but I could hardly find anything until I was ready to leave the shop and I came across this top.
The top is a nice flowing material which I find that I prefer to wear with it being summer. I don't find this top as flattering as other items that I purchased but it's still a beautiful top so I'm not complaining and it was in the sale so...
(Zara, £9.99)

Everyone within the UK knows how popular Primark is and it holds everything you could possibly need under one roof so obviously I had to go in. Primark is already a reasonably cheap shop but they still hold a lot of sales and whilst I was shopping I came across this top.
It's a very simple white, high neck top with a zip up the back, the material is very comfortable and would look lovely with any type of bottoms. Nice tops are always items that I feel like I lack so when I came across this I was very happy. This top was in the sale section of primark too. Definitely a bargain!
(Primark, £3.00)

The final item that I came across in Primark was a pair of shoes. Every time I visit my local Primark, I always seem to end up holding these shoes but then put them back but this time I decided to go for it and the encouragement from my friend telling me to treat myself was just making me want to buy them even more.
Orange is another colour that I just become attracted to whenever I am out and a girl can never have enough pair of shoes. The heel on these shoes isn't too big or too small and they're actually reasonably comfortable for a pair of heels. I think that heels like this would look great to dress up a plain outfit. I am very pleased that I finally purchased these beauties.
(Primark, £9)
